Nightlatch locks are operated by a key on one side of the door and by a handle on the other side. Yale P89

One of the most popular nightlatch lock in N20 is the Yale P89. Our locksmiths can fit it on solid timber doors or glass panelled doors. A good standard and very secure lock, it strongly resists being opened from the outside if a burglar was to break a window. It is opened by a by a latch on the inside and a key on the outside.

 

Yale 77/706

The 77 series traditional Nightlatch is a classic styled night latch lock regarded as the original Yale lock. It is opened a latch from the inside with a key from the outside and when the door is closed it locks automatically.

 

Yale P77

The Yale P77 nightlatch lock is another popular lock that is popular in N20. Whilst providing the upmost security, it is available in a brass or polished chrome finish. This is a compatible lock with most standard Yale rim locks and can be replaced directly by our Totteridge locksmiths. This lock is mainly for timber doors.

 

Chubb 4L74

The Chubb 4L74 Automatic deadlock nightlatch lock is a popular lock which can be supplied and fitted by our Totteridge locksmiths. It is activated by a key and It is particularly good for use on glass panelled doors, The lock automatically deadlocks when the door is closed shut and can be opened again using the snib button. It is designed for use on inward opening doors. You can also adjust the settings for the deadlock to be kept open.

Chubb 4L67E

The Chubb 4L67E lock is designed for inward opening doors. It is a British Standard night latch which also has an automatic deadlock. Totteridge locksmiths can install this lock, which has hardened steel plates and pins designed to withstand drill attacks. It functions through the using a key on the outside and by a latch on the inside of the door. A tough lock including anti-torque anti-drill, anti-pick anti-saw, and resistance. 

 

Yale 84 & 88

This simple Yale 84 & 88 Nightlatch lock has a medium security rating and is suitable for timber or exterior glass panelled doors.  For outward opening doors reverse strikes are also available at our Totteridge locksmith. These locks are supplied with satin chrome or a polished brass or finish.

 

Ingersoll SC71

 

 

 

The Ingersoll SC71 Nightlatch is a high security lock and is designed to resist hacksaw attack which is also

virtually impossible to pick. The bolt is a deadbolt and therefore cannot be opened by slipping the lock. This type of lock can also be doubled locked on exit. Totteridge locksmiths can supply and fit this lock to maximise your security on your property.

 

 

Yale P1

The Yale P1 nightlatch lock particularly suitable for glass panelled doors and is extremely popular in the Totteridge area. The lock automatically deadlocks when it is closed. Yale X9 Powerbolt

The Yale X9 Powerbolt nightlatch is a very secure and reliable lock with an automatic deadlocking system. It includes a child proof Safety Action Handle and comes in a polished chrome finish.

Union 1158 Rollerbolt

Union 1158 Rollerbolt Rim Lock is a simple but effective lock which is has a 5 lever system making it difficult to pick. It operates with a roller catch and has a deadlock which can be locked from either side. Totteridge locksmith can supply and fit this type of lock in a variety of finishes including satin chrome, brass and white enamel. It comes with two keys which operates the deadlock from the exterior of the lock.
